Troop 501 Eagle Scout Andrew Jackson is to be presented his Eagle Badge at his Eagle Court of Honor to be held at Saint John Lutheran Church in Arnold, Missouri. The ceremony begins promptly at 12:00 noon, and the family has requested that the Scouts of Troop 501 present the Colors. Please meet at the church, by 11:45, in full uniform.

Important Camp Forms – Please Complete Immediately and Return to Troop Meeting Tuesday

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you download and complete the Youth Reservation Form for Summer Camp, and return it to Troop Meeting on Tuesday night. If you haven’t paid yet, it’s still OK… But, we NEED the form completed and returned, right away, so that we can get a shirt reserved for your son. If you plan on attending, as a leader, you need to download, complete, and return the Leader Information and Reservation Form by the next meeting. Thank you.

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers of our fantastic Scouts. Without you, we wouldn’t be here, today.

Court of Honor

Our next Court of Honor will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2012, at 7:00 pm. Court of Honor is where the Scouts are recognized for their advancement over the past quarter. Parents are encouraged to attend and support their Scout. Each family should bring a desert to share, and personal drinks.

May Campout Scheduled

Our May campout will be a relaxed experience at Saint Francois State Park. The boys will have the opportunity to play any games they bring, field sports (feel free to bring frisbees, balls, etc), and will even be able to fish in the Big River, should there be enough interest. This campout will be one in which there will be few formally organized activities. The campout will be from May 25-27, 2012 (Memorial Day weekend – but not Memorial Day). We will be leaving the church at 6:30, sharp.

In light of the campout, our Troop will not participate in the Memorial Day Good turn at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, this year.
