Fall Camp-O-Ree

The Fall Camp-O-Ree Manual has been released, and is attached, here. This looks like it is going to be a GREAT camp-o-ree, and I can’t wait! The cost will only be $20, which includes the program, as well as food. Are you up to the challenge? I know I am! Come out and let’s show the rest of the District what Troop 501 is made of… Let’s show them which troop is the best!!!

Troop Elections

It’s that time, again… Time for Troop Elections. Troop Elections will be held on Tuesday night, October 7, 2014. If you think that you, or a Scout you know in our Troop, would make a great leader, here’s your chance to nominate him, or yourself for one of our many positions. As usual, we will be electing a new Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and other positions…

Troop 501 Holds Court of Honour

Last Tuesday, we held our Court of Honour. There were tons of awards presented. Nearly 40 merit badges, and several rank advancements, as well. Of course, we all enjoyed desserts and fellowship with the families of all of our Scouts. Thanks for coming and celebrating with us! Most of all, I wanted to share just how very proud we are of all of our Scouts in Troop 501. You guys ROCK IT!!!

Website Issues

As you may have noticed, we have had some website issues, as of late. The entire website disappeared for about a week. It has now been re-created. There are still a few issues, but I am working to get them resolved, as quickly as possible. Everything seems to be working right, now. We are just missing a few of the bells and whistles. Hopefully, it wont be long before these issues are all resolved.
