Additional Summer Camp Information

Don’t forget that all participants (Scouts and Leaders) will need to bring jeans for horseback riding and the ropes courses, and a refillable water bottle for daily use.

Scouts attending Voyageur (First-year campers) will need to bring khaki, or docker-style pants for Swimming Merit Badge work (it is easier to manipulate khakis in the water, than jeans, and they dry faster, too – just bear in mind that due to the nature of the lake water, they may become discolored). They will also need a small backpack to carry their supplies to and from Voyageur. First year Scouts should also bring a small, folding pocket knife, suitable for carving and whittling.

All Scouts will need pencil, pen, and paper (a notebook would be good). A folding pocket knife would be useful for all Scouts. Absolutely no fixed-blade or sheath-knives! Each Scout should also bring two cans of drink mix (no lemonade) of the same flavor. Some activities have an additional cost associated with them – Voyageur – $10; Shotgun Shooting – $10. Scouts should bring a little spending money with them ($20-30) for use at the Trading Post – T-shirts, patches, activity supplies, drinks, sodas, and ice cream…

Please arrive at camp close to noon, but no later than 1:00 pm, on Sunday. Pickup is on Saturday, at 9:30 am.
