2015 Summer Camp Documents

Here, you will find all of the important forms, documents, and manuals for this year’s summer camp. The are organized into three categories: Scouts, Parents, and Leaders.

Scouts

Once your Scout’s registration fee has been paid, we can register him for the merit badge classes that he is interested in (after April 1), so it’s very important to get your registration fees in, as soon as possible.

Your Scout will need to complete several forms before camp. They are provided for you, here:

Annual Health and Medical Record – Don’t forget that each Scout and Leader must have a CURRENT Annual Health and Medical Record on file, in order to participate in Summer Camp. For Summer Camp, Parts A, B, and C are needed (it’s the second option).

Individual Schedule – Use this form to create your schedule for the week. ALL SCOUTS MUST COMPLETE AND RETURN THIS FORM before they will be registered for merit badges and other activities for Summer Camp! Please note that all first year Scouts will attend the Voyageur program, 9 am- Noon, and 2-3 pm, daily. This block is identified by shading on the Individual Schedule. First year Scouts should not sign up for other merit badge classes at these times.

Merit Badges – This is a list of the merit badges offered at Camp Famous Eagle, this summer. There are several unique offerings available. Each merit badge lists any required “pre-work,” necessary supplies, and additional costs, if any. Please note that all first year Scouts will attend the Voyageur program, 9 am- Noon, and 2-3 pm, daily. This block is identified by shading on the Individual Schedule. First year Scouts should not sign up for other merit badge classes at these times.

2015 S-F Summer Camp Manual – Scout – This is the Summer Camp Packet for all Scouts. It contains the list of items needed, information about the Voyageur program, Merit Badge Descriptions and prerequisites, and the different activities at camp. Please note that there is an additional fee for the Voyageur progam ($10).

Parents

Parent Information Sheet – This simple, one-page information sheet will give parents all the necessary information about camp, and how to get in touch, in a simple format.

Parent Packet – This is the packet of information for parents (maps, how to get there, the ideal gift for the Scoutmaster, etc.). Please note that there may be additional fees for some programs, merit badges, and other activities, such as (but not limited to): Voyageur – $10; Order of the Arrow Call Out (for those that are eligible) – $20. Please refer to the summer camp manuals for further information.

Leaders

2015 S bar F Boy Scout Summer Camp Manual – This is it! Everything that you wanted to know, but didn’t know you needed to ask.

Annual Health and Medical Record – Don’t forget that each Scout and Leader must have a CURRENT Annual Health and Medical Record, signed by a physician, and on file, in order to participate in Summer Camp.
