Happy Trails!

In June, we will be going backpacking at Washington State Park. We are looking forward to this exciting adventure, and really can’t wait! This will be a great opportunity for our younger Scouts to get a few miles under their belts and experience a team-building (and character building) adventure with our Troop. It will also be a good opportunity for our more seasoned Scouts to get back to basics, and enjoy a little time away, while helping teach our younger Scouts important skills that are new to them. It will be a perfect time for all us to work on “Leave No Trace” fundamentals, and brush up on skills we haven’t used in a while.

Missouri has many trails, and there are quite a few within a short driving distance from Saint Louis. If you have a favorite trail that you would like for us to consider for a future outing, feel free to submit it to us at administrator@troop501.net. If you want to see what some of the other trails in the area have to offer, check out Trails.com – just click the logo-link, above!
