Memorial Day Good Turn

Ian Places Flag

Ian Places Flag

On Sunday, May 24, we will, again be participating in the annual Memorial Day Good Turn. The Scouts will be placing flags on the the graves of our veterans at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. We will meet at the McDonald’s on Telegraph (in front of Walmart) at 11:00 am, sharp. Scouts need to be dressed in full uniform, without sashes. Scouts need to have eaten (but not be overly full), bring water, and should have a hat. Scouts need to be wearing sunscreen, and in the case of inclement weather, need to have raingear. This is a solemn, but important event, that is very meaningful to our veterans, and touching to all who have seen and participated in it.
