Red Card/CPR Training

The next Troop Meeting is very important for all boys going to Summer Camp, particularly first-year campers… There are several merit badges that require basic aid and CPR training and skills. These are recorded on the Red Card, and the Red Card is presented at Summer Camp as evidence that the Scout has acquired these skills. During the next Troop Meeting, Officer Messmer will be conducting CPR/Red Card training, and will also cover several First Aid Requirements for Tenderfoot, Second, and First Class rank requirements. This training will not be repeated prior to camp, so it is very important that all first-year campers, as well as those Scouts that have not yet earned First Class, attend. Those Scouts that have already earned First Class are needed to assist Officer Messmer.
