A message from our Troop’s Institution Head… Please volunteer, if you can:
Just a reminder that we have LOTS of opportunity for you to get some service hours in at the church this weekend. And, we know it’s not about “just doing the time” but about using our time and gifts in a way that is pleasing to God, that will draw others closer to Him.
Almost all of our work this weekend is about providing “Radical Hospitality” to GUESTS who choose to come here over the next several weeks – so our goal is to think of them and their needs first. Listed below is the break down of time and activities available. I need to know (the sooner the better) what times(s) you are planning to come and help, as well as your preferred volunteer activity. 8:30-Noon Clean Up the Church! Choices are Inside or Outside work.
1pm-10pm Movie Marathon
Choices are Concessions or Childcare
Shift-work is ok. The movies show at 2pm (Jesus Christ Superstar), 4:30pm (Godspell) and 7pm (Passion of the Christ)
