Tragedy Befalls Local Scout and Family

Last week, a local Scout and his family suffered a house fire. Fortunately, all family members and pets are fine, but it is a total loss, as I understand it. We have been asked to focus all of our efforts on helping the Scout obtain Scouting equipment, and get ready for Camp-O-Ree, weekend after next. To that end, if you would like to make a donation, please bring it to Troop Meeting, tomorrow night. Call Christy Hufford, who is coordinating efforts on behalf of the troop, at 314-698-8746. Troop 501 will be contributing a new sleeping bag, and backpacking pack.
