Troop Camp-In and Cheesecake Bake

Don’t forget this coming weekend’s Camp-In and Cheesecake Bake… We will start with the Pack 830 Pack Meeting, at Guffey Elementary School. After the pack meeting, we will return to New Hope United Methodist, where we will begin our Annual Camp-In and Cheesecake Bake. The boys are free to bring any games or electronics they wish (to include consoles, hand-helds, and tv/monitors) – however the troop, its leaders, nor church, will accept any liability for these items. Saturday morning the boys will begin baking the cheesecakes that they have sold. Saturday night, the boys will be entertained by an exotic “Amazing Animals” show, and the movie, “Scout Camp.” Dinner will feature a Mexi-bar, taco meat, chips, taco shells, tortillas, beans, spanish rice, and all the fixin’s!

Boys are encouraged to attend anyone who they would like to join the troop for Saturday night dinner, shows, and sleep-over (if they wish to stay the night). Siblings are also invited to come for dinner and show. The cost for guests is $5 per person, and the cost for Scouts staying the weekend is $10. Each member of the troop is expected to be present, and help out, and assistance from parents is greatly appreciated.
