One of neat features of the Troop website was the event listing on the right column. Unfortunately, when the website was updated several months ago, the even listing started behaving erratically, and had to be disabled. The coding for the events listing has now been fixed, and has been re-enabled, and it looks really good! The Troop 501 Calendar can still be accessed from the Calendar tab, under the Header/ Banner Image. On the calendar page, you can view the Troop Calendar from month to month, in any format that you choose. You can also import the Troop Calendar into your own, personal calendar.
In addition, a listing of upcoming events will be available in the right margin of most pages on the Troop website. The listing will show the next 10 upcoming events on the Troop calendar. It includes events for Scouts as well as leader training, and other district and council events, and will provide a quick, at-a-glance reminder of upcoming Troop Adventures! For more information about an event, click on the link that reads “More details…” You will be taken to that event’s entry in the Troop calendar. We hope you will find this a useful tool.
