Website Issues Resolved (Mostly)

Some of you may have noticed that our website was down for the last week, or so. Our old web hosting service (the computer in the “cloud,” where our website files are actually physically located) was discontinued, abruptly. Sadly, that service was free, and free hosting is becoming increasingly difficult to find. The good news is that our site is now hosted by a sister company to our last hosting company, so things are pretty comparable, when it comes to the back-end of things. Unfortunately, our days of free hosting have come to an end. However, due to our long-standing relationship with the parent company, and owner of our current hosting company, we have been given a significantly substantial discount on the service of nearly 75%. If anyone would like to donate the cost of web hosting, saving the troop’s funds for equipment and such, please let me know, and I’ll give you the details. Everyone should notice an increase in speed and responsiveness, and improved “up-time,” though I don’t recall server issues to have been a significant issue, with our last hosting service. We still have just a couple of issues, but we have a support ticket in on them. The only thing that you should notice, at this point, is that our header image is different. Don’t worry, we’ll get back to the original header image, as soon as we have this minor issue worked out.

Thank you for your patience…
