William “Billy” Fisher, III is Troop 501’s first Eagle, start-to-finish. Billy’s project was initially to install an exercise circuit track and equipment at Arnold City Park. Days before he ordered the equipment, the City of Arnold withdrew their approval of Billy’s project leaving him with precious little time to develop a new project. However, he was able to overcome this hurdle, designing and building a fire truck-shaped reading nook for the Rock Community Fire Protection District, which, in turn gave the piece to the Arnold Branch of the Jefferson County Public Library, where it is enjoyed by children of all ages.
